To enhance the cooperation of the law enforcement authorities in preventing and combating economic crimes, the State Revenue Service (SRS), in cooperation with the State Police, is developing the Joint Digital Intelligence Environment. The Joint Digital Intelligence Environment will include the Analytic Tool and the Digital Support System, which will be connected to the State Police database. Information analysts and special task experts will be trained to operate the said system.
A procurement tender for the training of analysts and operatives was announced in December 2023. The experts will be trained in the application of the Analyst's Notebook analytical tool, which is an analytical program recognized by many law enforcement agencies. The Analyst's Notebook will provide an opportunity to analyse information available to the law enforcement authorities from various sources. It will disclose the interrelationship of suspected natural and legal entities and perform the analysis of the events and financial flow. The mentioned program will be integrated into the join digital intelligence environment, opening the wide opportunities for the experts to improve the information analysis, essential for disclosure of criminal offenses.
According to the Project Implementation Schedule, all trainings of the special task experts have been completed.
