The State Revenue Service (SRS) launched a special telephone helpline +371 67120012 for tax issues on support and cooperation with Ukraine on 21 March 2022. This helpline will inform and assist citizens and businesses who wish to provide support to Ukraine and its citizens as well as businesses that have been affected by the war in Ukraine.
This helpline is available from Monday to Thursday from 8:15 to 17:00 and Fridays from 8:15 to 15:45.
Businesses and residents can receive answers from SRS consultants to questions about paying taxes in situations related to support and cooperation, such as collecting and/or sending donations, providing shelter, offering refugees employment or business opportunities in Latvia, as well as other situations where advice on taxes or co-operation with SRS is required.
Questions may also be submitted in writing through the SRS Electronic Declaration System (EDS) in the section “Correspondence with SRS”.
Up-to-date information on tax issues related to events in Ukraine is also available on the SRS website www.vid.gov.lv in the section “Palīdzība Ukrainai” (in Latvian only).
For all other SRS issues that are not directly related to the situation in Ukraine, please continue to call the regular SRS hepline at +371 67120000 or write to SRS through EDS.
