The status of the payer of the advance shall enable the taxpayer to pay customs payments in advance in the accounting account of the deposited funds of the State Revenue Service without breaking them down by type of tax.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    In order to receive the service, a submission shall be submitted to the State Revenue Service (hereinafter - SRS):
    - Electronic Declaration System (EDS) (https://eds.vid.gov.lv/login/ - Documents - From Form - Information to the SRS Customs Board);
    - e-mail MP.lietvediba@vid.gov.lv (with a secure electronic signature);
    - by post;
    - face-to-face.

    The application shall specify:
    - the e-mail address to which information on the use of advance payments in customs declarations will be sent;
    - persons (given name, surname, personal identity number and e-mail address) who will be assigned user rights to the “Customs Customer Transactions” (MKD) section of the SRS EDS.

    The customs authority shall review the application and inform the person in the SRS Electronic Declaration System (EDS) regarding the granting of the status of the advance payer and the application of the advance payments.

  2. Receipt of services
    The information regarding the application of the advance payments shall be sent to the person in the accounting account of the deposited funds by the SRS electronically in the SRS Electronic Declaration System (EDS).
